Word Power Books was opened  by Booker Prize Winner James Kelman on 1 December 1994. In 2003, we extended our services to provide a world-wide secure online bookshop.

In December 2004, we started publishing and Revolutionary Witticisms of Colin Fox, Rosie Kane and Carolyn Leckie MSPs is our first book in print. Our second book, A Meeting of Two Minds: Geddes Tagore Letters, was published on 12 August 2005.
